Style Me Pretty Photo Shoot

Happy New Year to everyone! 2009 was a year of fun, unique adventures and we're excited to see what 2010 brings - new direction for the business and unique opportunities. Stay tuned!

We've been keeping this next blog entry under wraps and it has been extremely difficult! We are so proud of our work and the team we brought together to make it happen. So with no further delay I bring you a sneak peak of our SMP Inspiration to Reality board which will be featured today on style me pretty.

Our Beautiful couple Scarlett and Daniel (actors)

Our vision was to create a modern wedding with a retro vintage 50's feel. The color scheme was cool teal's with yellow accents. Our team was made up of with some one Boston's Alist Vendors including: Generations Cinemastories, Rentals Unlimited, Person and Killian Photography, Faxon Green Eco- Elegant Floral Design, Jenny's Cakes, Siman Entertainment, Flair Bridesmaids,Wedding Tresses, Jan Boyd Calligraphy, Classic Cars and Byways, East Meets West Catering, and last but certainly not least The Loft @ 319 A St. South end Boston.
The pictures you are viewing are ours, so I urge you to travel over to SMP to see the amazing professional photos which truly capture the beauty and talent.

The details we are seeing this year are classic and timeless with a big move away from trendy. Couples want to look back at their photos years later and not cringe at the styles and colors they chose.

Jenny's Amazingly Delicious Cake!

Escort Card Table - you are going to see a lot more feathers and peacock feathers in 2010 and beyond.
We had some much fun doing this and we couldnt have done it without the dedication and talent of everyone involved!

Florence's room at Crane Estate

We are excited to finally share photos from our involvement in "greening" of The Crane Estate for their holiday open house. We had the honor of decorating Florence's bedroom which has spectacular views of the grounds. What an amazing property!

While developing our design concept, we decided to turn Florence's dressing room into a bridal suite with a holiday twist. We also incorporated eco-friendly materials, flowers, etc in keeping with the "green" theme. We were in the company of others such as Dana Markos Events who has been decorating the house for many years. It was fun to see what others created.

We also added ambiance with candles and light color flowers to carry the bridal theme throughout.

It was a lot of fun and we got a lot of complements on the decor!! Great way to kick-off the holiday season.

Giving Thanks and Gearing Up for the Holidays

Happy Thanksgiving! It was a wonderful day spending time with family. We did the cooking which I love! Of course my favorite task is decorating the table. Here are a couple pictures from the Thanksgiving table. I went for a more rustic fall feel this year (no linen or ornate decor).

I've started the holiday decorating as well. While my husband is part Jewish, he lets me put up a Christmas tree. I try to represent chanakah as well. It's a great time to celebrate everyone's heritage.
