Here is the next phase of our wedding feature - the Save-the-Date This piece IS the unveiling of a wedding and it should set the tone. That's exactly what we did with this gorgeous design we collaborated on with Smudge Ink. Such talent in the hands of these ladies.
We wanted to tell the fun story about how the bride and groom met and the details of their wedding. The moto behind this event is "wow" and all the guests were blown awau by the beauty and intriquing love story. Smudge ink incorporated symbols and the cards were letterpress with taupe and gold ink.
Wait until you see the invitation...

Southern New England Weddings Magazine; Unveils a Hidden Jewel
We are very happy to blog about our recent features in this years Southern New England Weddings. We love SNEW and to be featured is such an honor!
Not only did we have a feature wedding but our collaborative efforts with Dana Markos, The Museum of Science and Festive Occasions photo shoot was a great hit. Seriously, if you haven't been to the musuem, go! If you don't think it's the right event for an elegant, just take a look. I think we'll change your mind.
This shoot was done in the Skyline Room at the Museum of Science. It really is a hidden treasure that everyone should know about. The view of the Charles and city skyline offers a sophisticated back drop, but your at the Museum of Science so you can also have fun. In our design, we played off of both. We chose a bar height banquet table with gold and red accents that really popped in the room and added a touch of glamour. Dana's magnificent floral designs pulled the entire table together.

Above is our play on fun (usually when your're playing you are having fun). We did this among the T Rex in the dinosaur exhibit- great room for a bar/bat mitzvah! We wanted to bring in natural elements such as burlap, recycled paper for our scroll menu, and leather chargers. Again Dana added his magic with rocks and elements that fit right in.
The Dover/Cook wedding was truly magnificant ! The tented wedding at Willowdale Estate was just perfect, from the hanging lanterns to the red and orange accents- everything just fell right into place.
