As the warm weather arrives, we're bringing you a winter wonderland to start the weekend - just in case you miss the pristine serenity of freshly fallen snow. This wedding will have you gushing with its dazzling mix of cool blue and sweet winter white. This wedding is a personal favorite because it was the second time we got to work with the Whelan family. It was so much fun and an honor to be a part of their lives again.
Blue up lighting combined with floor to ceiling silver accents, from the place settings to the chivari chairs, really created the feeling that guests were being entertained in a winter wonderland. David Murray Weddings once again captured the love between the couple. Becoming more of a trend, the couple went against traditional ways and chose to serve red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting in place of a cake - Yum! Beantown played "Shining Star" by The Manhattans as the Elizabeth and Terry floated across the ballroom for their first dance.
We want to give a big thinks to Seaside Video, Rentals Unlimited, Hana Floral Design and Boutique and Kelli from Exquisite Events for collaborating with us. You are all so talented!!

La Bella Bride Magazine Masters Art of the Tablescape
Who doesn't love the elegance, richness and sophistication the color gold invokes? We've had the honor of working with LaBella Magazine on several photo shoots and we are swooning over the last one.
The shoot took place at the Omni Parker House. The plates, glasses, and cutlery were all accented in rich gold tones that play up the old-world elegance of the venue. It's the perfect backdrop for a demure dinner party with friends. Add minimal florals to intensify accents and other table decor.
LaBella Bride Magazine is a great resource for trends and of course our favorite love stories. Check out their blog for more great ideas!
A special thanks to Rentals Unlimited for providing the rentals and to Dan Doke Photography for really capturing the elegance of our tablescapes.

Culture Infused Four Seasons Wedding
A few months back we blogged about a video from My and Francesco's wedding at the Four Seasons last August. We just got a peak at the breathtaking photographs shot by John at David Murray Weddings. As always he captured the romantic night just perfectly and we just couldn't resist sharing them!
The gorgeous embroidered white linens and chair covers provided a white backdrop for the romantic red accents throughout the reception. Red and amber uplighting really set the mood for the night as a belly dancer entertained the crowd. Such an infusion of culture that was so fun! Not one detail was overlooked when pulling together all of the red accents-from the programs to the favors and menu cards.

A special thanks to Table Toppers for the linens and the team at Lotus Designs for the flowers-you both always help us make our inspirations come to life! The music was also a tribute to the talents of Siman Entertainment who kept the crowd moving.
Cheers and enjoy!

Planning: Behind the Scenes III
Welcome to the third segment in our behind the scenes feature. Remember the amazing save-the-dates we unveiled? Smudge Ink out did themselves in creating our vision for this sophisticated invite with colors of ivory, gold and taupe. All the pieces were organized in a beautiful metallic gold pocket with a custom motif seal.
The rehearsal dinner invites are more playful with the skyline of Boston and pop of hot pink was added to the rehearsal dinner invite for a pop of spring color!
Stay tuned as we finish up all the fabulous details... surprises yet to come!

Vintage Fall Wedding
WOW! That's all I can say when looking at this wedding. We were so honored to be a part of MaryHelen and Kurt's big day. We love the Cape and this wedding captured its essence with sophistication and playfulness. The back drop for the reception was the gorgeous Hyannisport Club. Thanks to everyone there who went above and beyond.
As always, Christine and Andy from Bello Photography did a fantastic job capturing the vintage feel of MaryHelen and Kurt's special day.
Dancing is one of the couples favorite things to do and with entertainment by Night Rhythm guests were able to dance the night away! The centerpieces incorporated gorgeous flowers by Shama Klee and candles to set a romantic tone for the evening, while the bride and groom incorporated a nautical feel by naming each table after a part of a boat. Kurt's father let him borrow his vintage car as the new Mr. and Mrs. Gustafson drove into the sunset.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Gustafson!
