Forty1°North - AMAZING

Just in time for the weekend, we are showing a sneak peak of this fabulous new hotel before it opens to the public (goes live this weekend)!  We are jut just in awe and so excited to share details!  On the lower end of busy Thames Street, this gorgeous marina resort offers all the ammenities and vibe of a chic Manhattan boutique hotel.  Guests are greeted with a gorgeous grand stairs leading up the the entrance, there is a magnificent circular bar over looking the harbor.  When you make your reservation, the hotel provides a provisioning list so everything you require (that special bottle of champagne or certain brand of vodka) is sure to be in your room upon arrival.  Each room offers an  iPad and iTouch with preloaded music.

With this attention to detail and service, of course the event space doesn't dissapoint.  The outdoor gallery area is perfect for rehearsal dinners, small weddings and can even be set-up with a fantastic lounge area - so cool and crisp!  It's the perfect atmosphere to celebrate in Newport, whatever the occasion.

Latin Festival Event

We had a wonderful time coordinating the Latin Festival event at the Fireplace Restaurant! The music was great, the dancers and singers were fantastic, and a ton of people showed up even though the weather was a little dismal. 

And of course it's no surprise the food was amazing - chicken tacos, chips, margaritas - yum!  We want to thank everyone for coming out and hope to see you all next year.  We've ggot some great ideas to make it even better...stay tuned.

Youkilis Hits for Kids Team Runs Boston Marathon

Last Thursday we worked with Kevin Youkilis' Foundation, Hits for Kids to coordinate a Pre Marathon Fundraiser at La Verdad and it was a HIT! Youk's runners were there to support LoveLane and the Italian Home, two amazing groups, doing amazing work with kids.

La Verdad, a mexican restaurant located right across the street from the historic Fenway Park, was the perfect setting for the fundraiser. Throughout the event, guests enjoyed delicious mexican hors d'oeuvres and sipped on Boston's Harpoon Beer, while partcipating in both a silent and live auction with Michael Saperstein.

A big thanks to Rick Bern who captured the event and all the details. Greg Hill of WAAF was the emcee for the event while DJ Felix provided the festive music.

Without a doubt, the highlight of the night was when Lovelane and the Italian Home spoke about what they have been able to accomplish with the support of Youk's Kids. Another highlight was when the runners got up on stage! They were all amazing and did so much to support the charity. Congratulations to everyone involved!!




Following the Pre-Marathon Event, there was an event on Marathon Monday at a Private Residence on the marathon route - stay tuned, photos to follow!
